This original layered production cel set comes from the OVA film Cosmic Fantasy: Galaxy Cougar’s Trap (『コズミック・ファンタジー 銀河女豹の罠』). The set consists of multiple cels adhered together, reflecting the original production method used to construct a single animated cut. Each cel layer was responsible for a specific visual element—character movement, color separation, or depth—before being photographed as one completed frame.

The character Beruga, a female space pirate and central antagonist, represents the theatrical and stylized tone that defined the Cosmic Fantasy universe. Originally created as an RPG series by Kazuhiro Ochi, Cosmic Fantasy later expanded into animation, manga, and drama CDs.

Preserved in its original layered state, the work offers a rare material record of late-1980s to early-1990s cel animation practice, where a single scene existed as a physical construction rather than a digital composite.
