Anime cel print
The cel print, derived from Space Battleship Yamato (late 1970s), shows the crew assembled before their next journey. Their stillness carries the calm before motion—an image of collective purpose and silent resolve. Printed with layered pigments, the work retains the warm amber tones and crisp lines of its original frame.

 

Obi
Formed from two sections of the same Nishijin-woven obi, the textile backdrop merges red, blue, and gold threads into a field of quiet movement. The mirrored pieces create a sense of expansion and depth, enhancing the scale of the scene.
