[ Description ]

Anime cel print
The cel print, from Mobile Suit Gundam (late 1970s), shows the RX-77 Guncannon advancing low across the battlefield. It captures the grounded realism that defined Gundam—machines that move with weight, bound by gravity and human intent. The print preserves the sharp lines and bold red tones of the original cel, holding the sense of physical effort that reshaped the mecha genre.

Medium: Studio cel print on acetate, printed background of the original scene on paper

Obi
The background features the reverse side of a Nishijin-woven obi patterned with gold waves. The woven surface flows beneath the mobile suit like energy in motion, linking mechanical strength to the movement of water. The contrast of metal and silk draws the scene into balance—industry and nature in quiet dialogue.
